About the Program:

Noosa Hoopers is the fun and exciting program for young children aged 5 - 8 years.

The program uses a "game sense" approach where children learn basketball through playing lots of games and activities. Noosa Hoopers is for all boys and girls up to 10 years of age and ALL abilities. Basketball is a fantastic sport that can be played all year round, indoors or outdoors and you don't even need a hoop!

There are plenty of activities for the kids to do. Coaches use handy session plans provided through Noosa District Basketball Association. The children are having so much fun, they don't even realise they're learning!

 

When:

Noosa Hoopers is delivered at the Noosa Leisure Centre. Noosa District Basketball Association run's weekly programs on Saturday, 7:45am - 8:30am
 
Pricing Details:

The cost for the Saturday program for Term 1 is $80 (45 minute sessions).

Future Development:

When parents and coaches feel a player is ready to go to the next level they will assist the transition to the Junior Development League (JDL) which runs at the same time on the adjacent court.
