REGISTRATION

Some players choose to play across a number of competitions (eg a player that plays in both U12 and U14 will pay $225/$260 and $80 for the extra competition). Additional competitions will be $80 per season.
 

The registration process will provide an option to pay for the second season. Please email (noosacyclones@gmail.com) the club and let us know your intention to play across multiple age groups.

Noosa Cyclones are an inclusive and family-friendly club. Please approach club registrar to discuss if you need assistance with fee payment.

2021 Age Groups

U12 Age group – Players born in 2010 and 2011 (or after)

U14 Age group – Players born 2008 and 2009

U16 Age group - Players born in 2006 and 2007

U18 Age group - Players born in 2004 and 2005

 

INTRACLUB TRIAL INFORMATION

Girls, U12 and U14 Semester 2, 2021 Winter Season will kick off with an Intraclub Team Selection Day on Saturday 30 January, 2021.

Girls, U12 and U14 Team selections for each intraclub will be held at the same time on separate courts.

Each intraclub will train for 50 minutes and a team of selectors will select teams.

Invitations to current coaches have been extended via email to join their intraclubs selection team - please email to RSVP. Current playing groups will be kept together as long as they are within the age group regulations.

Trial Times:

8:00 - 8:50 - Southern Sabres

9:00 - 9:50 - Central Saints

10:00 - 10:50 - Northwest Warriors/Girls Competition

11:00 - 11:50 - Eastern Eagles

We ask that players arrive 10 minutes before trial for registering attendance on the day.

​

New players to the Cyclones family will be added to playing groups by the selection team on the day.

​

To ensure fair team selection we ask that all players attend the trial if they intend to play in the upcoming season.

​

Intraclub trials are a relatively new process for Noosa District Basketball and there will be a lot of questions from parents.

All players at trials Team Selection will be placed in a team. The priority is for pre-existing playing groups to remain together and then make teams as even as possible with new players or 'free agents'.

UNIFORMS

​Noosa Basketball uses the same uniforms competition-wide, these are sold within the office at the Noosa Leisure Centre.

​Uniforms are mandatory to play within any junior competition.

​

Good Shepherd Lutheran College have their own intraclub and are not included in the graphic. Please contact GSLC if you would like to join their team. If you are a student of GSLC and would like to join an intraclub listed below please contact NDBA.
