The SBL men have capped off their 2018 season with a win, downing the Ipswich Force, who were battling to fill the last place (8th) to berth a finals campaign.
The Cyclones were led by James Farrelly with 25 points, who is in the running for this season's SBL MVP.
Although just finishing outside of the 8 by a few games at 11th, the men had an impressive run in the back-end of the season winning 5 of their last 6 games, their only loss (by 2 points) coming down to the final minute against the regular season champions, Northside Wizards.
SBL Semi Finals kick off this weekend, with cross-town rivals Maroochy Clippers coming up against the Southwest Metro Pirates this Sunday evening.
