The U11 Cyclones Boys have taken out second place in the 2018 Club Champs Division 2 competition this past Sunday.
Having lost to the Carina Cobras in the round-robin stage, the boys put it all on the line in a tight-knit Semi Final against the Cobras to sneak over the line by two points.
Although improving greatly from their round-robin matchup, the Cyclones went down to the eventual undefeated champions, the Brumbies, in the Grand Final.
The Cyclones girls were unable to secure a win throughout the two day tournament, but that didn't stop Coach Angela's high praise for the squad. Speaking to Coach Angela after the tournament, she stated, "I couldn't be prouder of the girls, they learnt a lot from the weekend, and had a lot of fun in the process".
Noosa Basketball look forward to next years Club Championships, and will begin 2019 try-outs early next year.
