QSL

Noosa Cyclones is part of the Queensland State League (QSL)

The Queensland State League is a high-level competition for young developing players, players at their pinnacle, and players who have stepped down from elite competition.

The QSL competition consists of 14 clubs throughout Southern Queensland, with the league spanning as far north as Noosa (soon to be Rockhampton), as far south as Gold Coast, and as far west as Toowoomba.

QSL runs from May to September each year, and is open to Basketball Queensland affiliated associations.

QSL is a strong and competitive league in its own right, and also serves as a key Launchpad for young players looking to move into the NBL1 and beyond.

Noosa’s junior development offers a viable pathway for our junior players to progress their basketball into the elite senior level, with the majority of our Men’s and Women’s QSL teams featuring Noosa junior players.

Noosa’s home games are played on the show-court of the Noosa Leisure Centre.
